It was a long time ago for me but I was there again from June 89 to December 90 after a less than happy experience with the Public School System.Leadership and Safety here compared to what I went through at North Adelaide Primary was second to none and as for my new teacher he was a world away from the crappy ones I had before.They were very obliging and kind to offer me a placement on very short notice under some rather difficult circumstances which I am thankful to my mother for although it did mean leaving my old mates behind in the process it was all for the best.I could list all the great stuff I got out of my time here but I would be here all day otherwise.I urge all of you who don't need the combined primary/secondary school system from the start and can delay putting them into some northern/north eastern area school till about YR 7 OR YR 8 to consider St Andrews.My Cousin went here from 1978 to the end of 1981 and a fellow classmate of mine had a brother here for most of the eighties.

SOME OF THE STUDENTS SET A BUSH ON FIRE WITH A MATCH AND THE ONE OF THEM PULLED OUT THERE POCKET KIFE  AND STARTED STABING A TREE  SREEMING I LIKE BANANAS .

Inexperienced teachers set up for reception,   fee is way of expensive. Teacher asked my daughter time out when she didn't eat her lunch. After reported to principal,  surprisingly Principal yelled at me. I must say this was exceptional bad experience I had at St Andrews school. And 90% students are Chinese.

Pretty fantastic IB school, which teaches leadership and working together well. I wish they didn't change the uniform, though. The summer  skirt feels a bit like cardboard.
