Parent Reviews
We are so happy with Nido Blakeview. The educators are wonderful, and actively go out of their way to ensure our daughter is provided with the best care and an amazing learning experience each and every day. Nothing is ever any trouble. We would recommend Nido Blakeview to anyone!
As a teacher at Nido Blakeview, I am privileged to be able to see first hand the top quality and utmost care the Educators at Blakeview provide my daughter! She doesn't even cry when she sees me working during the day and she's only two. This demonstrates not only how comfortable and well-cared for she is by her Educators but also the time they take to get to know her and understand her personality and likes/dislikes.
Each day, I witness the genuine, heartwarming interactions that not only do the Educators provide my child, but ALL of the other children at Nido Blakeview. Each child is respected for and catered for on an individual basis, supporting their needs and their current interests.
The internal management of the Nido Blakeview Service is nothing short of heartwarming. They adore children! The children come first, and the ratios and program absolutely reflects this.
If my situation changes and I need to move on from working in long day care, my child is definitely still attending this service! I would never send my child anywhere else. I highly recommend Nido Blakeview to all my friends and family 💗
My daughter has been attending Nido - Blakeview since August 2023 just after she turned 1.
A small, wholesome, family oriented childcare. The number of children per room with educators is the right ratio, even if it seems chaotic with toddlers it is a very well structured, clean and organised childcare.
I am utterly surprised everytime I pick her up how clean she is for a toddler who is usually a hurricane of destruction, she hasn’t gotten sick and the centre is always clean and well kept.
Food is a good variety on a rotating menu and you can ask for the recipes to make at home if you want to help your child adjust.
The updates via the app are very clear especially if they are a fussy eater.
The educators take time to learn each child’s personality and quirks aswell as managing to remember parents/carers names.
The centre is very child focused, engaging with the child in creative fun activities and getting updated pics of what they have been up to is such a reassurance when you are away from them. My work family love seeing the daily updates and achievements of my daughter and are always amazed at how much Nido Blakeview do for the kids.
What I love the most is no matter your concern, I don’t feel judged or silly for a thought on my mind if my daughter hadn’t reached a milestone and was getting me upset/overthinking they reassured me constantly through their own experiences not only as an educator but as a parent. They actively worked with us to encourage my daughter and help her reach the milestones.
I feel a very strong bond/connection with the educators and all involved in my daughter’s care. I feel at home at Nido Blakeview, it is like a big warm hug filled with love that words can’t describe. I feel like I am speaking to a friend I have known forever because it just clicks.
Forever grateful my daughter was able to get a spot here, she has flourished.
It takes a big heart to shape little minds ❤️
I really love Nido Blakeview. So much so that I drive an additional hour each day, on top of a 10 hour workday, to take my daughter there! I have tried other centres that are more conveniently located, but none were as good as Nido Blakeview.
The general ethos and emphasis on natural and open ended materials and decor rather than piles of brightly coloured plastic is what drew me to Nido in the first place. This, along with their quality of care and standard or educators is what keeps me there.
Of course children become attached to certain educators, and I’m sure most educators tell parents that their child is their favourite, but in my daughter’s case, it seems to be true!
The educators are attentive, polite and caring, but also down to earth and friendly. The centre is very inclusive and includes a lot of First Nations education and activities. New and engaging learning activities across all topics are introduced every day, and the daily room photo updates are much appreciated.
My daughter will be staying at Nido as long as possible! Great job guys, and especially to the Director Holly, and Sarah before her, for creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for your staff, children, and families :)
Our daughter 1yo, spent 4 months at Nido Blakeview, and we wish we didn't have to move. Only regret my wife and I have is that we didn't book a spot sooner. The educators have excellent eye for detail, very caring and adaptable. There are updates through Story Park all day, and photos every day of the activities the children are doing. The educators actually listen when you give them the daily routine and they give feedback at the end of each day if it's needed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
We can’t fault our tile at Nido Blakeview so far. We changed centres and ever since we have seen a massive improvement in our sons care and overall well-being. He has come home happy and is excited to go which is a testament to the quality of care he receives. The staff are all friendly and positive and show a genuine interest and understanding in how the day went, including the front staff who remember to keep an apple at the front desk at the end of the day because she know he will always ask. We look forward to his future there and can’t thank them enough for their amazing work they do.
I do not recommend Nido Blakeview, it is full of gossip from majority of staff members and they prefer to chat like its the weekend then look after my child. Higher up team including director were not supportive or helpful. Bringing down others, gossip, sweeping problems under the rug and lying to us parents faces about food intake and sleep times is seemingly more important then looking after our children properly.
I only met a handful of educators who i'd actually recommend. The rest of them did not seem to care about even their own fellow staff. How can I send children here when the centre is a mess and false promises about my childs education are made? Caught up in appearances, there's no actual care.
I do not believe in the directors capability to manage the centre or her own staff. I don't believe the director is capable to even be a director full stop.
*** No thank you I will not email you, no one wanted to help me and my kids then, only now because this review taints the "perfect" business you're running**
