Spacious areas designed for exploration

When visiting our child care and early education centre, you will experience a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn through play. Our adventure-filled playgrounds include sandpits, slides, water play area and a vegetable garden which encourages children to discover and embrace their outdoor environment. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoor areas to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. We offer indoor/outdoor play opportunities all day! This enables our children to explore the different seasons and learn about nature and the world around them.

Our indoor spaces encourage exploration and discovery with engaging resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.

Healthy meals freshly made daily

Healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house chef who caters to all dietary requirements and guided by the healthy eating advisory. As all meals are prepared on site we are “allergy aware” and are able to cater to all children’s dietary requirements. Meals are encouraged to be self-served to support self help skills and are progressive, this allows children to identify their body’s needs and eat when they identify their need for hunger. These shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences while role modelling healthy eating practices.

Community connections that enhance the daily learning

Our educators and children explore our local community with visits to nearby locations and regular community walks. We are a drop-off point for "the village co." which is an organisation that helps donate resources to new mothers who need support. We also offer a monthly focus, encouraging donations for various organisations within the community. Community connections support a sense of belonging for children and offer opportunities to develop social and observational skills with various people and places.

We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests including representatives from Gowrie SA, dentists and photographers.

Our child care centre offers primary caregiving. This provides your child and family the opportunity to form a strong bond and connect on a unique level scaffolding stable relationships where children and families feel safe, comfortable and trust the educators to allow their children to explore and learn with their unique needs in mind.

As a breast-feeding friendly service, we have a private room which can be used for a number of private purposes to support our families, including programming, learning, meditation or prayer.
