ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE Sparrow Early Learning Centre opened its doors in April 2016. We are a 143-place centre with 6 different rooms for the ages 6 weeks – 5 years. All of our meals are made fresh on the premises each day, offering a large variety that is both nutritious and delicious, catering to each individual child’s dietary requirements. MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER Wominjeka, my name is Laura and I am the Service Manager here at Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and I have been working in the early childhood industry for over 6 years. During this time I have experienced a number of roles including center cook, assistant educator, room leader, 2IC and now Service Manager. ​ Teaching children is my passion and I believe the environment plays a major role in the success of an early childhood program. It should enhance the children’s interests in all developmental domains. The environment should take into consideration the social skills, communication skills, physical abilities or challenges and learning styles of all the children involved. Children need the assurance of being loved and cared for while they are enjoying an educational environment therefore security and trust are very important components of my relationship with each child.
