I love Goodstart Derrimut. So informative with children's well-being, accounts and flexibility towards our family's needs. My children adore all the carers and management staff. Exciting events happens throughout the entire year. Its been a pleasurable 4 years for my first child and 2 years for my second child who are still currently attending. Highly recommend. This was the first time we decided to take our Son to a Child Care Centre so we were a little concerned. However we couldn't of made a better decision then choosing Goodstart in Derrimut. From the onset of our initial call to Goodstart, to the Orientation days our Son encountered there this place not only made our Son welcomed but also made us welcomed as a family. We had constant updates from all staff there about his progress. The culture at the centre seems very positive. The change we so far have seen in him in a short period of time can only be complimented by all the staff there. We would like to thank all the staff for their ongoing help and its a big thumbs up from us.

We are very grateful for the care that has been provided and shown to our son and daughter at Goodstart Early Learning in Derrimut. Both of our children have been well supported throughout their transition into different rooms and we couldn’t be more happy. The educators are just fantastic and brilliant. They have helped our children develop their confidence in a lot of ways and they had provided them with excellent educational learning experiences and continue to do so. We have noticed so much growth since they both have started. We are truly appreciative of all that you do.

My son has been going to Goodstart Derrimut for the last 2.5 hours and i couldn't be happier.

My son was overseas for a while and had trouble communicating in English, at the start - but the educators were wonderful and helped him settle down and build confidence. He is now always happy when i pick him up in evenings and looks forward to going to child-care everyday.

Through all the stages, my son has had wonderful educators who are all very warm and welcoming. I've also found them very qualified and found myself turning to them for advise through the different challenges of early childhood.

The rooms and outdoor spaces are bright and spacious - and they are constantly changing the rooms to keep everything new and exciting for the kids. They have a few incursions and various engaging activities to make learning fun for kids.  My son is always coming back with stories of what they have learnt that day.

I've found that the communication is clear and consistent both from the educators and also from the centre manager - via emails, storypark app, posters in the centre at pickup etc. Everybody is easily accessible and always get back to any queries in a timely manner.

All in all - I think it's a great centre!

Good start Derrimut is the best child care centre, all staff members are very friendly & professional.

At Goodstart Early Learning Derrimut, children are encouraged to explore their environment and learn through problem solving and open ended experiences.

Children's art work is displayed throughout the centre and adds to our colourful atmosphere.

Our Pre school room is currently run by a Kinder teacher and an assistant. The children are currently learning the Alphabet, days of the week, numbers, and how to recognise and write their own names. In term four we introduce lunch box days to help encourage the children to open their lunch and prepare them for the big journey at school.

Our centre encourages children to build friendships with peers and educators through a variety of play experiences. All experiences are planned to build each child's self esteem and to assist in helping them to feel valued and worthy. Our centre has implemented  the Early Years Learning Framework. 

We offer 2 years of kinder. That's two years of continued high-quality early learning, playing and making friends. Everything your child needs to feel ready for school.

Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
