Cesspool of disease. My son and family got 2 awful viral infections twice in two weeks, we had to pull him out. We've never had this issue with other centres where he's been at daycare for many moths. Centre informed us that they were aware of these diseases circulating, but they never informed us at any point until we called them and they came clean about it!!  So what's next for us, COVID??

Don't hide sicknesses circulating within the centre. Be transparent!

We have ended care immediately as we do not trust the hygiene at this centre.

This childcare is well below standard. Disorganised, maybe understaffed or unqualified staff. Either way they do a terrible job taking care of the children. They lose children's clothing items, mix them up or misplace them. A lot of lip service to get more clients but they fall well short of the mark in delivering quality care for your children. The venue is filthy and smelly most of the time. Carers don't even know the children's names and rarely pay them much attention unless a parent is around. I don't know how other goodstarts are but this one has really got to clean it's act up. Had to remove my child.

Goodstart Point Cook Lemongrass Circuit is located just off the Boardwalk and five minutes from the town centre. We are close to a range of primary schools and accessible via public transport. Our centre has been operating for just over seven years.
 
Our service provides education and care for children between the ages of six weeks to five years. Children can move freely between rooms if they wish to visit siblings or their peers. Our families come from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, which we embrace through our daily learning activities and varied weekly food menu.  
 
We pride ourselves on our relationships with families and take the extra steps to get to know each and every person at our centre. We encourage families to join in the fun and contribute wherever they can. The centre hosts many events during the year including Mother's and Father's Day afternoon teas, parent evenings and our ever-popular Christmas family picnic.
 
Our educators are committed to providing quality education and development for all children in their care. Many of our team members have been with the centre for over five years, giving the continuity of care that families and young children need. We have an external music program that visits us on a weekly basis and a variety of other incursions throughout the year.
 
We supply all meals including breakfast for early arrivals and a late afternoon snack.
 
We invite prospective families to come and visit our centre and meet our friendly team!
