THE BEST educators and chef ever! The centre is so clean and presented in such a way that is engaging for all ages, including the parents! Three kids later and this is by far our most memorable and favourite centre we’ve ever been a part of❤️ 10/10👏🏽

My son started at Greenwood Point cook almost an year ago when he was 11 months and I am beyond happy on how he has evolved. He started off as a shy baby who was reluctant to eat solids or drink milk via bottle and took his own time of 2-3 months to settle in. During that time, what I loved was that educators went at his pace to ease him into new place even if it meant extra cuddles and lots of time spent in their arms. I am so thankful to them to let me come down for breastfeeds during that time because I understand how the child can get upset after watching parent leave them again apart from morning drop off. And how difficult it gets for the educators to settle the child back. Over the course of last year, he has grown in terms of his willingness to try different foods, being chatty and cheeky self and has grown fond of all the educators that he feels safe and happy to be with them. Cannot stress on how accommodative the educators have been to help my little one get better at eating. It meant trying different options of food, giving alternatives when he is not eating the offered meal and offering food at times other than designated mealtimes. I understand how challenging it is to employ these strategies alongside caring for other children and appreciate how they did it remarkably. Whether it was my concern based on medical advice for my little one or settling my little one in new room during transition, it was all addressed with compassion from them. What I can say is that when a parent sends their child to a childcare, the most important of all aspects is that the child should thrive and not just be settled enough before you pick them. And that is what I am most relieved about here at Greenwood Point cook. I can confidently say that he not only just is fine and settled there but thriving and I credit the educators in helping that happen. Thank you to each of the educators for all that you do and appreciate how challenging your jobs are.

My daughter has attended Greenwood for a few months now and from Day 1 the kinder educators A.J and Emma have been warm and welcoming make her feel safe to play and learn, all of the educators I have interacted with have been lovely. Would highly recommend this centre.

They say it takes a village to raise children and that’s exactly what Greenwood is to my family. Our village. During our 4 years (and counting) with Greenwood, I have felt so grateful for the care, effort, love and support both my children have experienced. The educators show immense care and attention to every child. They understand the emotional, social and academic needs of each child and they work really hard each day to develop these skills to prepare children for formal schooling. The children experience a variety of activities which are engaging, fun and educational and there are always interesting ‘free choice’ activities children can participate in that build on their individual interests. A great deal of effort and thought goes into developing these activities by each of the educators and it is highly valued. I particularly appreciate the strong relationships both my children have developed with their educators over the years. Also, the happy smiles and greetings we get the moment we walk through the doors. It clearly demonstrates to me that the educators genuinely love the kids they care for, and daycare is a happy, safe and warm environment to be a part of. We will cherish the next few years we have left at Greenwood and highly recommend this wonderful centre to any family looking for a positive daycare experience.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to the Greenwood team for making my daughters first official day at daycare such a smooth and calm transition. She looked so happy and relaxed. Thank you for all the updates too. It really put our minds at ease that she was having such a great time! We are very happy at Greenwood 😊

My daughter has been attending Greenwood for 9 months in the 4yo kinder room, and we have been very happy with the centre. All the educator’s are lovely and very attentive, the kids are well fed and looked after with care. My daughter comes home bouncing with happiness every day!

Greenwood is home away from home. I am fortunate to see my grandson grow, develop, and mature into this wonderful, creative & independent person he has become. From the moment we enrolled our two kids, we have been consistently impressed by the exceptional care and warmth provided by the staff. Their dedication and hard work have truly made a positive impact on our family. The first thing that struck us was the staff's genuine love for children. They are incredibly attentive, accomodating, and always have a smile on their faces. It's heartwarming to see how they greet both children and parents with such enthusiasm and warmth every single day. We also appreciate the thought and effort put into organizing a variety of activities to keep the kids engaged. We wholeheartedly recommend Greenwood Point Cook to any parents who are looking for a good centre. We have tried two other local childcare centres in point cook and this one has been by far the best. I am happy and very contented to chose greenwood childcare for my 3+ year (soon 4) daughter. My daughter started this childcare after being home for 9 months due to covid lockdown. And when the lockdown opened our family migrated from New Zealand to Melbourne early this year. After seeing off her siblings to primary school her day and time was only around me, which made it even hard for her to go away from me for few hours and start a childcare in an extremely new environment. She had a hard time initially but well done by the staff and the teachers who were / and still are so supportive and understanding. Within a month my daughter looked more settled and comfortable. She is always welcomed by everyone there- right from our favourite kitchen chef to the office managers and all the teachers who work extremely hard and very dedicated to their role. I would highly recommend this place to all the mums / dads / parents who are yet to make a decision about their little one’s childcare. Your child will get everything you expect from a childcare. One happy and safe place for the little ones to thrive. 😇
