Moonee Ponds Kinder Haven

My son enjoys his day in the kinder room so much, he is happy everyday! The educators there are professional and with lots of love and patience!

We have been going to the centre for 5 years - there have been ups and downs depending on the manager, but generally we were happy. The rooms are light filled, open and airy. There are many playgrounds, courtyards and the place has a great energy. The staff were generally really good. However in the last year things have gone completely downhill -  the most recent centre manager caused many resignations of staff, and many parents were overcharged (which was blamed on a new operating system). The kinder room changed staff about 4 times this year and now has a group of newly graduated staff without much experience. And the centre charges for public holidays even though the centre is closed - and don't offer make up the sessions (the fees are very high per day). Since posting this review I’ve been contacted by the management and assured that they are making changes and addressing these issues. So hopefully they will get back on track soon.

The Staff and Management at Kinder Haven Moonee Ponds are amazing. Our daughter had been part of the family since she was 8 months old, the baby room all the way to 4yr old kinder, building new friendship with other children and educators alike, until she start school this year 2018.
After her first week of school i was asked if we could go back after school, as i miss my teacher. Do i need to say more.

Not all childcare centres are the same as I found out when doing the tours of all the local childcare centres c. 5 years ago.  Kinder Haven immediately struck me as the only centre in the area that was clean, professional and well organised, where all the children seemed happy and contented, and where the educators were engaged and appeared to genuinely care.

I have absolutely no doubt that we made the best decision by sending our daughter here since she was 10 months old.  Kinder Haven has been like family to us over the past 4 years, and we shed many tears when my daughter left Kinder Haven to commence Prep this year, leaving with precious memories of her time there.

As busy working parents, we really appreciated the extended opening hours (to 6:30 pm), and the fact that the centre serves healthy nourishing meals, including dinner!  We have also felt very supported by the Centre Manager, Adriana who is actively engaged with each child who attends the centre and their families.

We have been very satisfied and are very appreciative of the level of care,  attention and education that our daughter has received during her time at Kinder Haven, and would not hesitate to recommend this amazing childcare centre to anyone in the area.

Excellent cente with caring, nurturing educators. Very clean, great facilities/equipment and staff who love the kids. Long opening hours and kids are fed dinner there.

Welcome to Moonee Ponds Kinder Haven. We're ideally located for families in Moonee Ponds, Flemington, Brunswick West, Brunswick, Carlton North, Essendon and Essendon West.

Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
