FROEBEL Carlton Early Learning Centre

A disappointment and terrible experience . I took my daughter to start two days a week, they did not make any approach so that my daughter was more familiar with the staff at the beginning of the morning since it was a new place for her and it scared her, I told the staff but they decided to ignore us, communication with the staff was zero since they did not pay attention to any of my requests on how to treat my daughter. At the same time, they did not explain to me the activities they did, they simply gave me papers to sign. The first day they decided to call me after 4 hours because they had run out of clothes because my daughter had peed on everything and they didn't know how to control her crying. I found her in a corner alone, terrified crying with her doll hugged and her blanket, The next day there is no contact with the staff again, they look at me from a distance as my daughter is crying with me and the only thing they say is that she should sit down to eat or do the activities that the other children do, pressuring me to go with her. a scared girl and ignore me, I tell them that please, if she continues crying, call me right away since they are telling me that they don't know how to treat a 2-year-old girl, they don't call me and in 3 hours I come back and find her in a ball with one of the staff crying non-stop, I lose all trust in the center since they definitely decided to ignore me. They have broken with every teaching system of the pedagogical concept Frobel covers what I remember is THE APPROACH OF THE FAMILY WITH THE CENTER, TEACHING PLAYING IS THE BEST WAY TO TEACH WITHOUT PRESSURE, especially for a girl who is afraid.

I highly recommend Froebel. The carers are lovely and highly competent, the administration staff are warm and responsive, the space is enriching and beautifully laid out, and the food is carefully planned and healthy. I feel happy and confident leaving my child at Froebel and I recommend it to family and friends.

My family has had an excellent experience so far with Froebel Carlton, and have sent our child here from 9-10 months of age. We started with 2-days and gradually increased to 3, and now 4-days a week as he is 18 months of age. The Nursery team is consistent in their approach, dedicated, well-trained and trustworthy. We know our child is safe from drop off to pick up. The staff keep us well-informed and their communication exceeds expectations. We feel assured knowing our child has their social and developmental needs met each day with his growing relationships with other children and his educators, whom he adores. Plus he eats and sleeps so well on his childcare days it makes our routine at home much easier to uphold. Would highly recommend checking out Froebel Carlton if you're looking for a culturally diverse childcare for your child. It was important to our family that our son would have a multicultural experience from early childhood on and meet people of many different ethnicities and encounter languages other than English. Froebel Carlton offers this and more.

We are so grateful to have found Froebel for our daughter. She is thriving under their care and absolutely loves going there. The nursery team is so caring, engaging and patient. The educators all show a genuine interest in connecting with the children. Thank you!

The wonderful educators at Froebel have helped take care of my daughter from around 6 months old, when she was at the peak of separation anxiety. The educators truly care for her and have made her comfortable in the space, and she loves them in return. The facilities are outstanding with outdoor spaces and open rooms. I've also been impressed by the thorough policies and procedures in place. I know that every child is different and has different experiences but I could not have asked for more for how they've looked after my child.

My experience with Froebel has been disappointing. My child's experience fell short, leaving me with so much regret and pain and I could not even get time with management to discuss the problem. I am happy to share my experience with anyone who is considering leaving their kid with this not trustworthy "business"

We take public transport from the South-East of the city every day to go to FROEBEL Carlton. We were driven to it because of their Spanish Immersion Program, and although I have no other point of reference, we are extremely happy with the centre, the lovely educators, the talented chef, and the amazing leadership team. Outside resources are so important to supplement language learning, especially when only one parent speaks the target language at home. We feel very lucky to be able to access this nurturing environment for our little one. Infinite thanks to the team!
