When we moved to Eltham we made the transition from "For Profit" Childcare to Non Profit. We couldn't be happier with the results from Goodstart and the Lower Plenty centre. The local management team are friendly, caring, efficient, professional and extremely responsive. They take great care and pay attention to small detail. Our kids absolutely love their educators, and their programs are enthusiastically delivered.

On top of the great educational and admin staff, the chef (Jay) is a wonderfully cheerful man who cooks nutritious meals and snacks. The play area is more spacious than most community playgrounds and very well appointed.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this centre as a high quality childcare option to anyone in the area. Keep up the great work Goodstart Lower Plenty!

Goodstart is such a supportive, caring and warm environment for kids to be looked after in, while still being very organised and well run. My daughter absolutely loves it.

We have been with Goodstart  Lower plenty since 2019 and my son absolutely loves going there. Rosi, the centre Manager is a very passionate and very well organised lady. Her positive encouragement made my son’s transition very smooth. Within few weeks my son established a strong relationships with Pooja and Safiya who were in pre kinder room at that time. Their gentle approach  and understanding of my son made the transition much smoother .
Nothing could go wrong if your child’s teacher is Silvia.She is a very creative and organised teacher. Every day she has interesting activities planned for the kids. My son  loves the science experiments he does with his teacher Silvia. It is so amazing how she finds out individual skills and developmental needs and planning accordingly. I can see our son is being exposed to great learning opportunities in the centre. I love the way Pooja, the other amazing Educator in the room does the incidental learning with the kids. My son’s love towards his teacher Silvia and Pooja really shows how comfortable he is in his kinder room.
All the other Educators in the centre are very passionate, understanding and friendly. We are very happy to find Goodstart lowerplenty and there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is so well cared for by such competent and caring Educators. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. Keep up the good work guys. You guys are truely amazing. Thank you very much for shaping up little minds.

My children have been at Goodstart Lower Plenty since they were both babies.  My eldest is now four and attending the kinder program.  They both love going to childcare and have the best time when they are there.  The educators are caring people who treat my children as one of their own which helps make drop offs that little bit easier.  Keep up the great work!

My child has been here for several months and he enjoys every single day there with his teachers and peers. The outdoor area is the best I'VE ever seen and the classrooms are big and wide and the educators are responsible and easy-going. I highly recommend this centre to my friends and family.

Goodstart Lower Plenty Early Learning Centre is designed as a home-like, nature inspired environment. OUr centre is conveniently located on 412 Main Road. We are close to primary schools and shops and although we are close to major roads, our centre is quiet and secure.

Our early learning programs cater to each child's stage of development, from six weeks of age to preschool-aged children.  Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is tailored to your child's individual strengths, needs and interests. We have 120 learning spaces and a separate nursery sleep room.

With a highly experienced team on board, Goodstart Lower Plenty offers children a nurturing and supportive environment, with Degree, Diploma and Certificate qualified educators and teachers who are passionate about delivering a quality early learning curriculum in a welcoming and inspiring environment.  

We have close connections with local schools such as Lower Plenty Primary School, to support children transitioning to school.

We use Storypark to engage parents with their child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Lower Plenty and what happens at home.

Drop off and pick up car spaces are located right outside our centre’s doors.
