Journey Early Learning Centre Templestowe

My daughter has been attending this center for about a month, and I couldn’t be happier. I know I wouldn’t feel this way if she were anywhere else. We have been in this childcare for almost a year now. Educators are lovely and always planning fun activities for the children. The same faces (educators) have been around, which gives your child familiarity and helps them build stronger bonds/understand your child. Would 100% recommend this childcare!

My son started here at 10 months (in July 2024) and we continue to be so happy with the attentiveness and care from each staff member. Even the teachers who work in different rooms know our son and make an effort to greet us every time they see us. During the tour, we could see immediately that the staff members were engaged with the kids they were caring for. Love the updates of the activities they give us - so reassuring as first time parents. They're also so committed to helping our son (and the other kids) learn and explore new experiences, like supporting him with his walking goals and using a spoon. We feel so lucky we have Journey Templestowe so close to us.

First time parent, first time using child care, and I'm so happy and relieved I found Journey. Immediately when we walked in for a tour, we noticed how calm the place was, especially compared to other places that seemed a bit hectic. The staff seemed very nice, and we liked that we could see straight into the kitchen and speak with the cooks. Fast forward to orientation and settling in of my very attached 1 year old, and things are going great. All the educators have been so caring and attentive while my son settled in, and there seems to be lots of staff around, not just the minimum ratios, so the children get lots of personal attention. And it's a smaller centre so the staff know all the kids, like a family. While I was there during orientation sessions x3, I repeatedly saw kids happy to see their educators upon arrival, and leaving their parents' arms to get to the educators'. I thought that was amazing. There's a separate sleep room, a breast feeding room, and all the food is FRESH, no frozen veg, and you can get the recipe if there's a particular meal your child liked! My son always has seconds there, it's awesome. And a really big outdoor area with shades. Admin is really organised, lots of updates on your child via app all day, and management has been great to deal with. Good parking, good price, and there's even a coffee machine if you need to hang around for some reason.

My children have been at journey for a few years and I can highly recommend them. The environment is so clean and they take such good care of the kids. My kids love their childcare days and that says a lot. They have taught my kids great manners and have helped them with their confidence and communication. I have had such a wonderful experience and have seen how much my children have learnt. I love that when you speak to any of the educators they know my children’s temperament so well it shows they are not only caring for them but paying close attention to each and every one of the kids. All the educators are so lovely and you can tell they love what they do and genuinely care for the children. Ashish is a great kinder teacher my daughter has learnt so much from him and Jinju. Roshni is a great centre manager, she is constantly improving the centre and has always promptly responded to any concerns I ever had. All of the educators at journey are so wonderful and I am so glad I found this place!

My son has been attending this childcare, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. He absolutely loves spending time with his educators, especially Piyumy, who has made such a positive impact on him. The staff are caring and we are so grateful for the care and support.

I love how the staff and educators makes you feel at home .my son loves it here.he even cries when hes not attending..i will never forget the first time my son came on orientation day and the educator at the time ( jordan) had welcomed my son in unique way that made me feel at ease and know my son was in safe hand.educators put their 100% efforts in these kids and they always take my comments and issues and act on it and they always follow up with my issues .all i can say is that i feel that my son is going to a family house when i drop him off..i regret not sending him earlier. Thanks to all the team members .🥰

My daughter has attended journey early learning for 4 years now. We have always had a great experience with journey and the staff have always been amazing. My daughter loves it there and i have always felt safe leaving my daughter in their capable hand.

This is a very good childcare, the principal and teachers are very patient and caring. Andy has gradually adapted to the environment of the crntre.and now he will not cry when he goes there. I am very glad, and I hope that with the company of teachers and children, he can become more and more independent

I recently completed an internship at Journey Early Learning, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The teachers are incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel like a valued part of the team from day one. They shared so much knowledge with me, and I’m truly grateful for everything I learned. The patience and care the teachers have for the children are remarkable. Each child receives so much attention, and it’s clear that the staff is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The passion they have for early childhood education is truly inspiring, and it was a joy to see how much the children thrive under their care. I wholeheartedly recommend Journey Early Learning to any parents looking for a loving and supportive place for their child’s early learning.
