My two boys attend this childcare the girls are amazing and so accommodating, and the owner Chris is always so lovely and understanding I definitely recommend anyone looking for a childcare to look here

My son has been attending Canterbury Rd Childcare in Surrey Hills since it opened its doors back in June 2019.  We have been absolutely delighted with the quality of centre, its staff and level of care that has been provide at the centre.  We love the fact that it is a family owned facility, run by really wonderful people who take a lot of pride in providing the most amazing and wonderful environment for the children in their care.  A big thank you to all at the centre for your hard work, dedication and generosity.

The centre only opened this week, however our daughter is absolutely loving it. Chris + Lillian are hard workers, lovely people and have been running childcare centres for 25 years...they truly have the children’s best interests at heart. This centre is a children’s wonderland...beautiful toys, bright colours, big-hearted carers + a menu filled with culinary delights for little ones...their hard work has certainly paid off with this lovely centre that you feel absolutely pleased + at ease to leave your child here. Parents and families are always welcome to visit Choklits Child Care. Our 'open-door' policy encourages parents to visit the ELC to discuss their child's progress at any time. The benefits of a supportive relationship between home and the ELC cannot be over-emphasised, as children develop confidence and a healthy understanding of themselves and others in a social context, which respects and recognises individual differences.

Did you know 90% of our brains develop by the time we are 5 years old? It's true, childhood is much more than the first stage of life, the science now tells us it’s the most important. When children come to Choklits they get to learn through play, make new friends and they get to have fun.

Come inside and hear the laughter and song. See the children busy at work, smell the home-cooked (and sugar free) meals and meander the endless playgroud. Hear young voices cooperating and planning, discussing and sharing, while the birds chirp endlessly all day long.

Music and movement are an integral part of each room's program on a daily basis. This enormous outdoor playground invites young people to explore and investigate in a variety of spaces for socialisation, while the indoors provide ever changing worlds of interactive learning for a child's eye view of the world.

Outside, the children enjoy the sandpit, water play areas, climbing equipment, vegetable garden, slides and ball games.

We run an all-inclusive program and never charge extra for the numerous incursions, excursions or extra activities, ever!

Some of the extracurricular activities included in our daily fee at Choklits are:
- Yoga Tuition (Mondays)
- Auslan (Australian Sign Language, Tuesdays)
- Music and Movement (Wednesdays)
- Choklits Activate Sports Program (Thursdays)
