Fawkner Park Children's Centre

Had both my kids go here, not a day went by that they complained about going. This is a not for profit centre, with focus around the children. It's a combination of good families, good educators and good management that make this a gem. It is not fancy, but a honest down to earth place. It takes a village to raise kids, this was ours for 5+ years. Get on the waiting list early and give your kids a good memorable childhood along with an excelent start in their education. I wish I had of read Raj’s review below. The $50 waitlist fee is a complete scam. No where on the website does it tell you it’s a min 2 year waitlist. Very unhelpful for most families I am sure. Management are not at all apologetic and refuse to give money back. Tour was also average with the manager asking absolutely no questions about my child and their needs.

Our granddaughter attends FP twice weekly and what she is learning as a result of the love and care of the staff is reflected both in her obvious enjoyment of being a part of the Blue Room activities and in her emerging social and communication skills. Im very sad to write this review but I had gone through a lot emotionally. The worst experience I had, I waited for a year to get my child enrolled and she was on a wait list and every time they have a script that they are very popular and the preference is for the siblings & others and the child has to wait for another year yet she cannot secure a spot. I believe they want the child to grow up to 10 years and then they might give us a spot. I have been flexible for number of days and day preference. They dont comeback, they make money with the waitlist fee. I dont think it is good childcare management. Stay away and it is a scam

The best dog friendly park in the area. This is the biggest park in the area that allows dogs off lead. Well maintained, and great to do some exercise and let your dog play and socialize wit other dogs at the same time. There is always plenty of other dogs in the park, especially just after work and in the morning.
