Kelly Walton
Centre Director
Hi, I'm Kelly Walton and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mount Waverley. I have been in the childcare sector for 22 years and have been a Centre Director for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Teaching and a Diploma in Early Childhood. Throughout my career I have worked with and educated children from all age groups and have had the opportunity to gain experience in a number of different roles.
I am a strong believer in ensuring children are central to everything we do. My core belief is that children need to be safe, secure and have the ability to thrive in an enriched environment.
Our team is made up of very experienced and passionate educators who are highly qualified in the field of early childhood development.
I believe in an inclusive education and working closely with families to ensure the needs of each child is met.
Choosing a childcare can be stressful to say the least; so please come and see us here in Mount Waverley and I hope we can ease that stress by providing a seamless transition into our early learning environment.

Our son has been going there for a couple of years now. I can proudly say he has always been in safe hands. The facilitators are caring and providing you feedback on learning via Story Park. I find the staff and centre head Ann is thoroughly engaged and invested in children. They are very receptive to feedback. The carers are flexible in providing plans and care based on individual child needs. The kinder staff have contributed to our son's growth significantly. We are extremely satisfied with their services and as parents are very relaxed that our son is comfortable and calm in their care.

My kid started his journey in this lovely center when he was 2 years old. We appreciate that our kid improved a lot for his language, social skill, behaviors, and knowledge. Thanks so much for all his professional and kindness educators, as well as the manager who is always very organised. We also share this positive feedback with our family friend, and their kid has been transferred to this center (kid loves it too)!
The staff there have gone above and beyond to ensure our little one feels welcome at their centre! She enjoys going there and has started building friendships with peers! The staff is attentive to the kids’ needs and interact with parents really well. We would like to thank them so much for all the work they put in.

Before joining Goodstart, he was always reluctant to go to any daycare. However Goodstart infused a sense of positivity.
Bijoy and Hannah transformed my kid from a shy kid to a confident boy and today he is always ready to go!
The care offered by Bijoy/Hannah and other staff has been amazing. Encouraging the kids and keeping them interested and curious, they have done an amazing job in all the time that I have known them.

Amazing staff at Goodstart Mount Waverley. Our children are very happy at this centre and we feel very confident leaving them to the experience and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
My daughter has been with them for 3 months now. As far as I can tell, she has a happy experience, even though she only goes there once a week. I appreciate how responsive the carers are whenever I have questions concerning my child through their app. Only thing they can improve on is migrate everything in the app, like information about naply change, feeding and sleep, atm, it's still handwritten. This way it's easier for us parents to access them. Location wise, it's quite easy to get to. Their facility is clean and I would say safe for kids. I would recommend this center to other parents.
Such a friendly and warm environment for our little ones to start their learning journey! Kelly & her staff are amazing and go over and beyond to make us and our children comfortable!
