My son has been going here since soon after they opened. After not settling into family daycare, we looked at a lot of centres in the area and immediately felt comfortable when we stepped inside Starfish Clayton South. Although it still took a while for him to completely settle, the staff were all so caring and attentive that I knew it was the right place for him. I spend a lot of time at the centre and have got to know all the staff and families really well. It is such a friendly and inclusive environment and the children are so happy there. The facilities are clean with excellent resources, the outdoor areas are spacious with lots of different activities set up, and the food provided is high quality and varied. There are lots of interesting incursions and excursions, as well as special events for the families to get involved in. I highly recommend Starfish Clayton South.

I would recommend this place..it is small and safe centre. My son started here when he was 18 months. He us enjoying it.Staff are friendly and caring

Starfish is a beautiful,amazing center because they are good at what they do,they educators are simply the best by caring for they kids like their own (love of a mother to a child).my son started attending barely 13weeks and I can attest to a great improvement in his intellectual,behavioural and social skills.i see Starfish as my son second home because he is always happy to be there ,unlike his formal childcare.i recommend STARFISH anyday for parents because  the careers are not only good at what the do they are friendly and compassionate.The center is a great atmosphere for learning.A big thank you to the Educators at turtle room you guys rock,I truely appreciate everyone working them because I feel my son is safe with you guys.God bless them

Excellent service and best educators that I have experienced
Our first child went to Starfish Springvale, at the time Starfish Clayton was not yet opened and we were so impressed with the care provided that when we had to look for a childcare Centre for our second child we thought of Starfish straight away.
Lucky for us now that Starfish Clayton (closer location for us). We didn’t hesitate to enrol our child straight away. We knew the staff and comfortable with what we know.
At the moment our son is in the youngest room. He is only 7 months but they do so much there to encourage development and learning. The leader educator Linda and other staff are so creative that they make educational toys for children to excel. I certainly feel my child is not just in safe hand but also in the best care. I can focus at work entirely and always looking forward to see smiles on my child’s face at the end of the day when I pick him up.
The best indicator about the workplace is seeing how happy staff are. I always see Starfish educators full of positive energy and smiles. They are obviously happy and being treated well. I could say positives forever about Starfish in general (not just Clayton) and can’t recommend enough ..,,

I will not recommend this centre. I was greeted by a lady with long black hair who was the manager. When she start talking I could straight away smell cigarette smoke coming from her mouth and the foyer area smell too. she speak too much, seem fake and rush didn’t give chance to look closely inside each room. Fee too expensive and greedy too!
