Parent Reviews
After assessing about ten other childcare centres in our area, choosing Starfish ELC for our son was the best decision. The educators at Starfish ELC stand out for their long tenure and genuine care, creating a nurturing environment for the children. Small class sizes mean individual attention and a personalised approach to learning, contributing significantly to our son's development.
The cleanliness of the centre and the healthy, balanced meals provided are commendable, ensuring children stay healthy and engaged. Starfish ELC's play-based learning philosophy not only makes education fun but also effective.
Anna, the center director, is an absolute super star! She and her team are committed to working in partnership with parents. Starfish ELC is more than a childcare centre; it's a community where children thrive in a loving and supportive atmosphere. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Will not take my child here ever again my child came home with bruises and bite marks . The educator nasreen I have no idea what standards she has brushed all my questions aside like my child is nothing . Also what are they teaching the kinder kids who are getting ready for school is not to the standard kids will start school with no idea in what to do . Maybe in a 3rd world country your standards will be fine starfish Clayton but not here .
Nasreen is only working for the money and not for the kids welfare only money she doesn’t watch the kids or if they are hurt doesn’t notify parents .
Our family is super happy with the Center. The educators are very kind and supportive.
If you're looking for a childcare centre with real heart, this is it. Staff who care deeply about their jobs and your kids, a warm, inclusive atmosphere, a program that encompasses school readiness alongside social skills, and appreciation of different cultures. The kids who come out are well-rounded and confident little things, at least that has been our experience.
It’s a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from us.
Management quite unreceptive and unwilling to listen to our requirements for the child to be kept indoors while experiencing ear infections. They kept referring to policy all the time. It’s a safe place but quite inflexible.
I’ve been taking my daughter to Starfish in Clayton for about 2 years . This Childcare Centre is more like a home to the children. All educators and stuff are professional , caring and kind and love kids like their own. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure children are happy , feel safe , working on them individually according to their characters and educational needs . What really stands out to me is that I have never felt so welcomed , never seen so genuine care , friendly people , always positive happy and smiling from any other centre I’ve been . The empathy and the understanding of this great team is just outstandingly amazing . I have peace of mind when I leave my little Korina there . Highly recommended, even one visit will convince anyone that it is a wonderful, loving environment, full of happy people that definitely love children and what they do! 5 stars not enough !
Very good place for kids to learn. Educators and all staff are very co-operative and friendly. They are very considerate of different cultures and backgrounds children have come from and promote inclusiveness & diversity. Dietary requirements are catered and families are even encouraged to participate in children's learning activities. Overall, we are very happy to send our child to Starfish ELC, that appears to be a center with true Australian values.

lucky we know before daughter start
Starfish is a beautiful, amazing center because they are good at what they do,they educators are simply the best by caring for they kids like their own (love of a mother to a child).my son started attending barely 13weeks and I can attest to a great improvement in his intellectual, behavioural and social skills.i see Starfish as my son second home because he is always happy to be there ,unlike his formal childcare.i recommend STARFISH anyday for parents because the careers are not only good at what the do they are friendly and compassionate. The center is a great atmosphere for learning.A big thank you to the Educators at turtle room you guys rock,I truely appreciate everyone working them because I feel my son is safe with you guys.God bless them
