Our centre is architecturally designed to offer children a beautiful inviting space both internally and externally. Featuring six age-based learning spaces over two levels, with direct access for all children to a 0-2 and 3-6 year old expansive outdoor play areas.

Hi, I’m Steph and I’m the Centre Director of our wonderful early learning community here at Goodstart Mentone.
I’ve been in the Early Learning Sector for 18 years in various roles, 7 of those years as a Centre Director and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I have two children of my own and with my experience as an educator, director and parent I feel I have a well-rounded understanding and perspective of just how integral it is to provide a warm, caring environment for families rich with learning and of course, lots of fun!
I have a passion for supporting educators to go above and beyond to achieve and exceed their goals, in turn creating incredible learning opportunities for children.
The first years after birth are the catalyst of brain development therefore I have a firm belief in celebrating and fostering the uniqueness of every child and tailoring their early learning experience to their individual needs and interests, building a desire for learning they can continue in the years to come.

My daughter has recently moved to Goodstart Mentone about few weeks ago. All the staffs and educators gave us a very warm welcoming which help the transition went smoothly. I am so impressed with all the beautiful learning spaces in the center. I know that my daughter will be thrilled here. My daughter joined in March and she has learnt a lot since then. Their facilities are quite new and they have lots of toys and equipment for the little one to explore. I recommend this CC to people live around this area.
My 2 daughters have been attending Goodstart Mentone for a number of years now and they both love it! The educators are very dedicated and caring and we get good feedback on how their day was, as well as regular storeypark updates. They also have some really fun activities and regular incursions to keep them busy. ☺️

Our daughter has been attending Goodstart for a few months now and we couldn’t be happier! She took some time to adjust especially at drop off time but the educators have always greeted her with patience and compassion. At the end of each day they always take the time to give us an overview of her day and how she went.
Our daughter is also on the quieter side, but the centre has always fostered a great environment for all personalities and temperaments. We are so far very pleased with the facility and definitely recommend it!
My daughter has been here for only about two weeks now and honestly the growth and confidence I see in her already is absolutely amazing, she's always so happy at pick up. and the updats we get on story park are always so full of information about the children day, with lots of cute photos. it's been such an amazing experience so far, thanks to the amazing staff in the toddler room who have taken the time to get my little one feel safe, welcomw and belonged so quickly and for always having a quick chat with me both at drop off and at pick up and the beautiful people in management, you guys are always so quick to help with any big or small problem, and just let me know about my daughters day even if you saw her just for a spilt second.

I recently completed a placement for my study in Maternal and Child Health at Goodstart Mentone. From the very first contact right through until my final day, Renee and her team were friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. I had the opportunity to observe children in each age group who attend, and interact with the staff.The children were happy, engaged in the activities, both indoors and outside, and were attended to with the upmost care by the wonderful team employed there.
