Hi, I’m Nafisa Chowdhury and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Parkdale.
I have been in Early Childhood sector since 2013 and worked in a range of services both private and non for profit. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Parkdale.
I strongly believe that each child can, at their own pace, develop independence, self-identity and an ability to investigate the world around them. I love to build a trusting relationship with the children while guiding them into the next stage of development with an excitement for continued learning. I enjoy acknowledging the multi-culturalism in our community and like to celebrate cultural uniqueness. I have also been actively taking part in various sustainability programs and encourage our children to be part of the process to create a better future for us all.
At Goodstart Parkdale, we take pride in providing a safe, nurturing and happy environment for the children developed in partnership with our beautiful families, educators and community.

Great centre.It has a homely feeling.The staff are very caring and the learning program is stimulating for the little ones.They organize lots of different extra activities like incursions, excursions, walks at the local park and bush kinder.

Goodstart parkdale is an amazing centre, both my children loved going there
one is at school, second one is in nursery room.
The best part about the centre is they have staff working there for more then 10 years,
they follows every dietary requirement also to add on the cook is amazing , my son loves to eat everything after attending the centre before he was a fussy eater now he eats everything.
Thank is not enough to the Centre Director and all the amazing educator in there who made my life easy.
Both my kids have been here. The educators are so kind, caring and nurturing. We felt our children are loved and cared for. The outdoor space is well maintained and lovely for the children.
We moved to Australia few months back and my daughter was not ready for the change, but Goodstart Early Learning Parkdale made it so easy for her to settle in this new environment. All the educators are so friendly and skilled. They managed to help my daughter settle very quickly. I really appreciate their support and guidance because my daughter is not a forward character. Now she is really happy with everything she is going through.
I would highly recommend Goodstart Parkdale to anyone because it is very easy to work with them in all the situations.
Since my son started there at the beginning of the year all the educators have been extremely encouraging, supportive and attentive to his needs. When I pick him up I can ask anything about his day and they will give me a detailed response. He is always happy to go there and comes home every night with craft pieces that he explains to me. Most importantly one of the educators enquired about speech pathology and now his speech is getting so much better and she even made sure that during his day he practiced his words not on his own but through play and story time with the whole group 😊
Our family loves Goodstart Parkdale. This centre is filled with caring, highly skilled and passionate educators who go above and beyond every day. Both our sons have thrived in this environment.
