Chelsea Heights Primary School

We chose this school after visiting 4 surrounding state primary schools. What blew us away was the engagement of the students, the fact that the principal knew EVERY child's name, and they were all comfortable approaching her. The sense of community here is fantastic and the teachers knowledge of each student and ability to get the most out of them is fantastic. Both our kids love it, and you can tell how much other kids love it by the number of children and parents hanging around at the end of the day. The kids literally don't want to go home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have two children attending this school one of which just started this year and has a vision impairment.
When touring schools for my first to attend we chose this school for him because of the strong sense of community, their commitment to ensuring all children strive both academically as well as personally - in the sense that they feel their self worth, they each have jobs and standards they are expected to reach.
But really we chose the school based on their brilliant and inclusive program.
They have bent over backwards over and over to fight to make sure my daughter has what she needs to be successful at school including equipment like a Brailler which is very costly. And students from al grades check up on my daughter in the play ground all the time to make sure she is ok and doesn’t need help. They’re a beautiful bunch of kids who all really look out for each other.
I could not recommend them any higher. Jane and her staff are brilliant and it is no surprise to me she won Principal of the year in 2018 and definitely no shock that schools from all over melbourne travel to the school to do tours for a hands on experience on how CHPS does things.
Schools from as far as Endeavour Hills use Chelsea Heights as the model when designing their programs because CHPS are leading the trail blazing way!
I adore the school and more importantly  so do my children!

Best school I've come across. Great staff that actually care about the childrens education. They have a program that suits kids of all types. After just the first year my son can read 100+ words and write at a level two years above his grade. He is autistic and had only a year of help from specialist before starting here. He now only gets help from the school, there program is that good. Fantastic school.

A wonderfully inclusive school catering to individual needs for all abilities. Issues are dealt with promptly and respectfully. The leadership team value parental involvement immensely.

This is a great primary school. My child has achieved great things through this school, The Teachers and Staff are fantastic and the school has a positive fully inclusive environment for all Children. Highly recommend
