Great centre, well run. Our kids are happy here
Highly recommend this centre to anyone looking. The educators and staff are all fabulous. I love that there's so much outdoor space and that the kids learn so much here.
I regret ever sending my children here! The head office and the committee are cold and calculating. The whole centre is ran by parents. No matter how good their educators are, with parents and staff like that behind the scene the whole place falls apart.
Quite possibly the worst place I have ever sent my children. 90% of the educators are beautiful however this place is ran by bias parents who do not have every Childs interest at heart. Only their own!
Can't recommend this place enough. The educators are wonderful - know their stuff educationally, extremely caring and focused on the children's wellbeing, very professional as well as being kind, generous and just good people. Importantly, it must also be a good place to work as the turnover is extremely low, so there is real continuity as children grow up and the educators begin to feel more like an extension of our family. The centre itself is also a real gem. Huge outdoor areas which the staff utilise extremely well. Close to the beach and external playgrounds, so there are heaps of excursions and the chef works wonders - just about the only vegetables my daughter eats are what she eats here. It's also a not-for-profit, so it's priorities are right!
I can't recommend enough this child care to other families. We have tried couple of other centres in Port Melbourne, but Ada Mary quality is clearly above. The rooms are spacious and opened to ample different courtyards adapted to the children age. The staff is very friendly and there isn't a high turnover unlike other places.
When we first visited Ada Mary I got a really good feel that it would be a great place to send my son. And my expectations have certainly been met! It's an incredible centre full of a very devoted and caring team with have the kids best interests at heart.
Ada Mary has been an extremely positive experience for all of our family. The team are phenomenally talented, experienced and super caring, and should be proud that they keep their wonderful rooms and facilities so clean and tidy. They also have great experiential programs for the kids including beach kinder. It's easy to see why they are continually rated highly by external assessors, and the community alike.
Could not recommend this daycare enough ! An amazing centre with great values, committed staff, great food, diversity for activities for all ages and always going above and beyond ! A clear difference with this “not for profit” centre vs other places we have tried for our 4.5 years old who absolutely loves it !
Ada Mary is a fantastic day care centre. Our 1st son went there for 5 years and our second one has been there for the last 2 years and he loves going there! Sometimes he even asks to go there during the weekend.
Fantastic educators, healthy homemade food, diversified activities that teach the children to take care of themselves, respect each other and enjoy our environment with care…. We would highly recommend this childcare to everyone.
