The Goodstart Early Learning Team is inviting, friendly and nurturing. The centre and it's facilities are well-maintained and clean, and the outdoor yards are large and spacious. Communication with parents about the centre (ie: policy changes, event's, illnesses etc), learning spaces, and your child's development is amazing. I love that my child has a primary educator that he attends to most of his daily needs and he can form a special bond with. They also offer different fee rates (full day, 10 hr day or 9 hr day) that suits individual family needs. Highly recommended this centre and it's staff.

After experiencing a Good Start Centre that was being driven into the ground, coming here was a breath of fresh air. There is a wonderful dedicated team of teachers, natural surrounds for the kids to play and explore and an administration team that will go above and beyond to help solve any problem you have. The kinder program is fantastic and it has been the best move for my youngest 2 kids

A wonderful early learning centre! We are so happy we enrolled our children here. We were  recommended this service via a couple of friends and we were instantly impressed upon inspection. Of particular interest were the large open play areas for our children to explore which were in stark contrast to the small courtyards of other centres we had previously inspected. The staff have been very welcoming and exemplary in their efforts to help our children settle into their new normal and we are grateful in knowing that they have and will continue to be so well looked after. We appreciate the time and effort they go to in engaging with us in person or via storypark, frequently sending photos of our children at play and evidence of our children achieving milestones. Daycare days have quickly become our children’s favourite time of the week!

I could not be happier with Goodstart Waurn ponds . We actually travel over an hour to the centre for my two children. Not only is each of the rooms spacious, but each toy has educational value and a particular learning skill associated with its purpose and placement.
The cleaning and hygiene is far better than any other centre I’ve been at. (And I looked at quite a few before enrolling )
But the thing that makes me the happiest is how much the educators love their jobs. They’re truly passionate about children and their development.

My kid has been studying here for 2 years. Fantastic school. A lot of activities. He loves school than home.

Goodstart Early Learning Waurn Ponds is located in a convenient spot for easy daily drop-offs and pick-ups, close to schools, shops and residential areas.
 
The centre provides places for up to 122 children per day, and provides early education and care programs including a Government Funded Kindergarten Program five day a week to university staff, students and local families, caring for children from six weeks to five years – in rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool.  
 
Inside, our rooms are set up in line with our curriculum and programs, and reflect the Early Years Learning Framework. Although, our Storypark platform means we can stay in close contact with parents and ensure they are aware of their child’s development and achievements. At the core of our programming is an understanding of the children’s individual needs, interests and strengths – so communication is key in this process.
 
We focus on using the natural environment as the third teacher. Our outside play spaces and resources are natural and reflect on the tranquillity that encompasses our environment. We have garden beds, grass, tan bark play areas, vegetable patches, sand pits, mud pits and lots of shaded play areas across our small yard, large yard, and central courtyard. This provides opportunities for children to explore and express wonder in their environment. Educators and teachers engage in conversations that encourage thinking and imaginative skills in their everyday play experiences. 

Our early learning centre offers community and family spaces, natural environments and our onsite centre cook prepares nutritious meals for all the children, including children with dietary requirements.  

Drop off and pick up is made easy for families as we have ample car parking opportunities in our secure car park.
