Centre Director
Hi, I’m Mel and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Horsham. Currently I am on a secondment as a Performance Lead for Area 398, supporting our Goodstart centres in Horsham, Ballarat and the Macedon Ranges. While I am undertaking this secondment, my Assistant Director, Jodie Rabl is the nominated contact for our Horsham centre.
I have been working in the early childhood education sector since 2001, and as a mother of two I understand the challenges faced daily by families – and why good support and strong relationships with families is vital.
I have been Centre Director at Goodstart Horsham since 2007 and have gained experience within the industry. I have a Diploma of Children’s Services and for me, it is all about providing the highest quality of early learning opportunities.
I am passionate about the service we provide to families and strive to create a nurturing community that encourages a partnership with and participation from families with children and educators.
I am a very dedicated early childhood professional and I am committed to ensuring that my educators and I provide the children in our centre with the best possible learning environment that will give them the foundations to be able to create positive futures.
