Goodstart Early Learning Mildura - Eleventh Street

I’m a passionate and focused Early Childhood advocate with over 24 years in the Early Childhood and Care industry. Originally born and bred in Mildura I have also resided in Melbourne for 10 years, having a vast amount of exposure to new philosophy and trainings across the industry. Reggio, Montessori, Gardener, Walker…. How do children grow and learn in an environment that suits them to thrive and reach goals.

My roles have included, Management, Centre Operations, and Centre Build’s and Development across Melbourne and Geelong. I’ve been involved with Early Learning Centres, Kindergartens, OSHC Services and Playgroups and I’m excited to bring my experience home to benefit the local community.

I believe that every child is entitled to quality learning and development  and that each child’s learning style should be advocated and supported. Children should have fun in their early years, learning through a balance of play, investigation and inquiry. Key relationships are an important part of a child’s safe bubble and this is supported by family, educators and close friends in the child’s network. It is important for a child to not only feel safe, but to feel loved, valued and encouraged.

The other important job in my life is being a Mum. This really helps me value the journey that parents take, intrusting their children to us on a day to day basis. The service that you are looking for and the feeling you have when you have to walk out the door each morning. It can be a challenging journey but we are here to support it as much as possible.

Our door is always open and we would love to have you come visit and tour our facility. No question is too silly, and no feeling is unwarranted.
