My kids attended this school and absolutely hated it from the start the negative energy and horrible education system speaks for itself but the lack of care for children’s mental wellbeing is honestly outrageous. All the good reviews are recognised to be from teachers who are paid to write them. I will never forgive this school for making my child feel unsafe and mentally abused. My child has missed so many days of school that has affected their school record and why? Because they felt unsafe at mernda hills due to everything that they put your child through then when you speak up about it they turn it back onto your child and blame everything on them.

Mernda Hills College is an exceptional educational institution that truly understands and caters to the needs of its students. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and adept at identifying and nurturing each student’s strengths and weaknesses without ever causing embarrassment. Mr. Martin, in particular, brings great energy and enthusiasm to the school environment. The college is currently expanding its building facilities, demonstrating a commitment to providing the best possible resources for its students. They genuinely care about the future of their students, ensuring a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. I strongly recommend Mernda Hills College to all parents and students. My daughter, who is in Grade 8, loves attending this school and thrives in its positive environment.

I really love being here at this school, it’s more like a home, where everyone can share their ideas and thoughts. If you want to have the best secondary experience and build your life with Christian values, this is a school is for you!

Wanted to apply as my son really liked the school after we had a tour so I did. When going for said tour I disclosed my son had autism and adhd which they said they had supporting staff in place to assist etc etc. I get a letter in the mail shortly after stating my son would be better off at a school for disabled children when my son does not have an intellectual disability and doesn’t even qualify to attend such schools. This was very discriminatory due to the acts in place regarding disabilities and education and also not in line with the bible the school claims to follow. Beware of place like this school who claim one thing and do another. Was a waste of my time and my sons and left me extremely upset that people who claim to follow the word of god place such judgement on my son without even having the right or knowledge to do so. They did however return the enrolment fee as they should but how does that make up for the sheer discrimination and offensive language and behaviour from so called Christians and so called professionals? If you try to send your child here I would think twice or three times if this is the kind of environment fit to mould the mind of your child. If I could give -5 stars I would. Hope this helps other parents thinking about sending their child here.

I love working in this school. The college has a wonderful small school culture where everyone is known and cared for. The staff are dedicated Christian educators who genuinely care for each other and their students. The focus on building respectful, responsible & resilient learners is evident in the way our students behave. I'm so impressed by our students!
