We are so happy with our decision to join the MECS community. We have experienced a stand out, high-quality 4yo Kinder year and now the most unusual Foundation year (thanks to Covid19) which has also been great!
We have found the communication and support to be above that of many other schools and the generosity of resources reinvested into students schooling experiences is lovely. The occasional fun packages delivered from school have been a highlight for our family during lockdown. The effort and the genuine care and appreciation that the teachers have for each child's unique character is really special. We feel part of a community that is learning, growing and sticking together and are so grateful.

Let me start by saying, no school is perfect, no teacher is perfect but perfection is not what I looked for in your school search. I look for my child being 'seen', nurtured and encouraged to be the best version of themselves. I have discovered this in bucket-loads at MECS.

I work in the state school system (and no, I DON'T work for MECS) - high school & primary - and both my 2 kids that have attended both state schools and MECs, with one child completing VCE in a state school and other currently completing at MECS.

My children have been totally 'lost' in the sea of masses in state schools yet valued and respected in MECS, especially in the senior year levels.
Just as in every school parental engagement and communication is paramount so the amount you are willing to invest in your child's education will always be of value no matter the school but at MECS I'm assured of the fact that staff know who I am, they actually know who my child is and they quickly support us as needed.
Maybe not perfect but at least there's always a conversation going, besides both my kids have loved attending and that's pretty much perfection right there!

Edrolo is horrible and should never have been added.
No one uses schoolbox, tell us if we have homework, no one looks online to see if they have homework. Tell us, not hard

I love that the teachers actually care about me and my learning. I was homeschooled before MECS, and I was so worried about coming into an environment where I wouldn't get any attention at all, but that's not the case! The teachers are always there to help me and all of my other peers, even if they don't teach us for any subjects. Thanks MECS, keep up the good work.
