Goodstart Early Learning Endeavour Hills - Barnsley Drive

I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Endeavour Hills – Barnsley Drive since February 2021.

I hold a Diploma in early childhood education, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Endeavour Hills – Barnsley Drive

I have been in various roles of the Early Childhood industry for a total of 11 years ranging from the centre cook, room leader to Assistant Director and as a Director. I have worked in a range of services both private and non-for-profit, in Australia working with children from birth to 12 years.

My early learning values:

Here at Goodstart Barnsley Drive we aim to provide children with a home away from home, a place where each child is welcomed and feels a sense of belonging. With a warm and inviting feel as you enter the Centre, we create a fun and family like dynamic where we work in partnership with our families and in conjunction with our culturally diverse community.

Children are central to everything we do, and we strive to create an environment, rich with learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors where each individual child’s needs are met, and children’s health and safety are paramount.

What I love about our community:

The people! From a quick morning hello, to the amazing support given when we do a local fund-raising drive it is the people who build our community.

A little more about me:

When I’m not in the centre, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family; I come from a large family as I am one of seven children and I have 10 amazing nephews and three beautiful nieces. Family is everything to me. I enjoy baking, cleaning, painting, or looking for further study opportunities in varying areas, because I love to learn.

Each week the children participate in a yoga class which teaches them mindfulness.
