I was a bit worried about the 1:4 ratio - if I had 4 babies at home I'd never be able to keep them all happy! But the nursery staff all work as a team to play with happy babies and give tired or unhappy little people the one-on-one attention they need. They do a great job to keep everyone happy, busy and interested.

Both of my children have attended Goodstart Maidavale and both have always enjoyed it. The level of care and professionalism from all staff is commendable, and the activities we see through the Storybook app are engaging and educational. Great work!

A great day care centre, my eldest son William attends and always comes home having learnt something new. He has a difficult time at drop off and the staff are always happy to help my wife if he is being troubled. Our second son George will also be attending here shortly.

I've walked past it many times and seen the happy faces of children :) the staff are well trained with a few locals shining extra hard

My grandson on his second day here had his face and gouged by another childs fingernails when they were playing outside with older children perhaps extra special attention should be given to supervising the younger children when mixed with the older ones having said that, the staff seem caring and the centre clean with nice outdoor areas for the children to play in.

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Maida Vale is a purpose built centre located at the foot of the Kalamunda Hill, close to local schools, shops and community facilities.

Inside, all of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework , with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, veggie patch and worm farm, open space to run, lots of shade and natural gardens. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

Our warm and friendly educators have many years of experience behind them and are always willing to learn more through training sessions and training days. Most educators hold a Diploma of Children's Services or Certificate III in Children's Services. They have all undergone a Working with Children Check.
