ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE We are a purpose built child care centre in Ellenbrook for children aged from birth to 6 years. We operate between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday to meet the needs of busy families with packed schedules. ​ For your convenience breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack are provided to ensure that your child is provided with the nutrition they need to get through the day. We also provide a before and after school care service for children up to the age of 6 years. ​ Our team of quality educators are joined by a Bachelor-qualified teacher to ensure that your child is always exposed to quality education in the form of our School Readiness Program aims to prepare them for Kindy and beyond. Our educational service is complemented by monthly visits to the library to encourage young readers and our external Happy Feet visits encourage fit and active lifestyles. We provide monthly incursions with variety to keep our children informed and entertained. Our service has a sustainability program that includes chickens and we have a community room that community members can request to utilise. ​ We warmly welcome all families to contact or visit our Service for a tour, we look forward to seeing you! MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER My name is Emma and I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services and this is my third time stepping in to a Service Manager role for a Maternity Leave cover. My passion is helping children reach their learning potential by ensuring they feel supported, safe and special while at our service. It is such a crucial time in their lives to learn the important skills needed to become involved learners such as curiosity, investigation and independence as well as the tools to become good people – empathy, thoughtfulness and compassion. I believe that through children’s connections to their environments and the people they engage with in those environments we can open their worlds up to so many opportunities for growth and development. Connecting with children’s families and cultures and treating each individual within our service with respect for their differences is paramount to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all to enjoy. My aim for our service is to create a space for children to play and learn that stimulates their brain and imagination.
