ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Our Early Education and Care Service provides quality care for you child between the hours of 6:30am to 6pm.
Childhood is a time like no other; it’s when children learn through exploration, experimentation, challenges and opportunity and this is something that we at Great Beginnings Camillo strive to give your child the opportunity to experience.
We, as Early Childcare Educators, are there to give each child opportunity to learn through their environment and play. We encourage children to express their emotions, thoughts and ideas and allow children to be themselves in a comfortable and secure setting.
At Sparrow Early Learning Camillo inclusive of the cost of your child’s education we provide fun and exciting incursions including Junior Goals Soccer and Ready Steady Go! These are additional programs that your child can experience throughout their time at the centre which introduce them to a range of different sports, look at sportsman ship and getting your child up and active.
We also provide additional quality Before and After School programs for three schools; Clifton Hills Primary, Grovelands Primary and Westfield Park Primary. At Sparrow Early Learning Camillo your child can attend our Service all through their Primary years as we are able to provide quality education and care for children up to 7 years of age.
We are a multicultural centre with children and Educators from various different backgrounds. With a low staff turnover our Educators are able to form strong and meaningful bonds not only with your child but with you family as well, because at Sparrow Early Learning Camillo your family is our family!
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
Hi everyone. My name is Kirsti and I am the Service Manager of Sparrow Camillo. I have worked in early learning nearly all my life and absolutely love it. My daughter saw my passion and also decided to follow in my footsteps and is a qualified educator as well.
I have a degree in Child Psychology, a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Children's Services, a Diploma of Business, a Diploma in HR, Cert IV in Assessment & Workplace Training as well as a Cert IV in Frontline Management and Business.
I started in early learning as I specialised in sexual trauma in children as a child psychologist but I decided I needed to be a voice for children (hopefully) before trauma happened, and nearly 30 years later, I am still a voice for children. I am a huge advocate for child protection and child safety, and teaching children protective behaviours.
I live with my partner, Dave and he is a qualified cabinet maker as well as a qualified horticulturist. We have 2 dogs - a purebred golden retriever, and a rescue purebred husky. I have just the one daughter and 2 grandsons who mean the absolute world to me. I am a big believer in working together with families to set and achieve goals for children, as this sets them up for life and creates a lifetime love of learning.
Please feel free to come in and meet the team. We are all here to support you and your child into the centre, as well as being available for advice and help your throughout your parenting journey.
