We are proudly West Australian owned and operated. Our focus is to build upon our ever-growing community in WA, embracing everything that makes our local backyard so great.
We believe the first five years of a child’s life are pivotal for health, happiness, growth and development and can have a lasting impact on a child’s life in general. As Educators we see it as our role to support and encourage children to strive for their best during this very important time in their lives.
Through creativity, thoughtfulness and quality care, we aim to inspire children to love learning and feel apart of our community so they are driven to discover new things every day with confidence.
Amici Early Learning Piara Waters provides care for children ranging in age from 0-4 years for the Early Years and 4-5 years Kindergarten (Attending School).
The early years is an important time for nurturing, growth and development; which create strong foundations for a child’s life that can allow them thrive throughout their schooling and adult lives.
At Amici Early Learning we provide an environment where learning through play and respect for children is embedded into our practices and guided by our centre Philosophy. We value our local community, our children’s family backgrounds and build relationships with all families based on mutual respect and open communication.
Our educators follow the early years learning framework when planning and setting up exciting and engaging activities for your children. In every age group we believe in offering activities and learning spaces that will foster children's curiosity, creativity and imagination to support a love of learning through play.
The main focus of our Kindergarten program is to provide children with endless opportunities to become independent individuals. We have a strong commitment to provide an environment which focuses on developing skills that will benefit children when they go to school and throughout their lifelong learning journey. Our Kindergarten Program is implemented by a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
Their curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) My Time Our Place (MTOP) Framework as well as many other early childhood theories, and the Education Department school curriculum that is also used by schools in our local area.
The program in the Kindy room has a large focus on building literacy skills that will hopefully assist the children in preparing for their transition to formal schooling. We also provide a variety of experiences that encourage learning about sustainability, emotions, diversity, community awareness, gross and fine motor development, creativity and much more.
Literacy and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are integrated in a unique manner that encompasses a diverse range of learning styles within the room. Children are given multiple opportunities to extend on their literacy, and STEM skills in tactile learning opportunities indoors and outdoors. Using our ability to problem solve and investigate, children extend on their understanding of the world with an inquiry driven curriculum.
Our mission is to support our families in every way possible, one of the ways we do this is by including all essentials required daily by your child such as 5 healthy nutritious meals, planned exciting activities, qualified educators, sunscreen, nappies and free extra currucular sports and activities.
