My little monkey has been attending daycare for almost 1.5 years now. I was initially apprehensive about it but in retrospect, it's the best decision I've made. She loves going to daycare, has made so many friends and is ahead of her peers in the language and developmental area because of the amazing program they offer. They ensure the kids are safe and notify you immediately if they suspect your kid is unwell. The carers are attentive and care for the little ones as of they are their own.

We love sending our daughter here! All the staff are friendly and supportive and we trust them completely! I appreciate that our daughter is known by name to all the staff and even the other students wave hello and goodbye to her! She’s making her first friends here and I love seeing her grow! Thank you so much to all the staff for your brilliant, caring and professional approach to child care.

Both my children go to this daycare centre.  My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old (she is now 3) and i could not be happier with the educators and the facilities.  My daughter absolutely loves going there and has great connection with all of the educators.  My son has been attending since he was 4 months old (he is now 11 months) and again has made great connections with the educators and i can not fault the way they are with him.  I would recommend this daycare centre to anyone without a second thought.

My daughters have been attending Goodstart since they were both 10 months old (they are now 3 and 5). They have thrived in this centre and each and every staff member has made a positive and important impact on my girls and in turn the girls share close bonds with the staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Louise and all the staff at Goodstart, and the centre, as a fantastic starting point for any family.

Both my children have been to this centre, one currently still attending. They loved going and would always ask to go even on their non daycare days. Would highly recommend, love the staff and programs they facilitate.

Goodstart Rockingham is located 47 km south-south-west of Perth on the Whadjuk and Binjareb land of the Nyoongar people.  

Goodstart Early Learning Rockingham is a warm, welcoming centre that places emphasis on the natural environment. From learning environments flooded with natural light to spaces and a playground that provides opportunities for children to learn as they explore, discover, and imagine, Goodstart Rockingham holds a great appreciation and connection to its natural environments. 

Providing opportunities to explore outcomes associated with creativity, initiative and resilience, the natural environments encourage children to take considered risks in decision making, develop friendships, conduct experiments and nurture wild imaginations. Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

Each learning environment has been designed with children at the forefront, with opportunities to explore, learn and grow in respectful ways. Our learning environments provide children opportunities and support throughout play to solve problems, make enquiries and engage in critical thinking. Our learning environments at Goodstart Rockingham are inspired by a holistic approach, where educators see children’s learning as interconnected and integrated. Goodstart Rockingham also places emphasis on the relationships between children, families and the community and highlights the importance of mutual, respectful relationships and partnerships for learning. 

Our centre offers care for children from the age of six weeks up until five years as we celebrate, honour and welcome children, families and educators from a diverse range of nationalities. Educators at Goodstart Rockingham understand the importance of developing secure, respectful, and reciprocal relationships and we use a key educator approach in each of our rooms. Throughout nurturing and responsive relationships, educators create opportunities and moments for children to feel respected, valued and develop confidence. Our responsive and respectful learning relationships are strengthened over time as children and educators have the opportunity to learn together and share moments of respect, trust and decision making.

At Goodstart Rockingham we encourage healthy eating and our menus based on a whole food approach to nutrition offer a variety of meals that are sweetened by honey or maple syrup, have no added salt and flavoured by a wide range of herbs and spices.
