Scholarships Open in NSW
There’s more than $12 million worth of scholarships currently open for childcare professionals in NSW, so now’s the time to check what you can get!
BY HEJIRA CONVERY, KINDICARE
Study is an excellent way to level up your childcare career, and although qualifications don’t always come cheap, the NSW government is chipping in more than $12 million to lessen the financial burden of study for eligible childcare professionals.
The NSW government’s 2023-2024 scholarships program contains a whole range of scholarships for early learning and outside school hours care people, and these scholarships aren’t just for straight-out-of-school students.
You can apply for a scholarship whether you’re new to the sector, or have years of experience, and the best way to see what scholarship you might want – and get – is to see what’s on offer!
Below, you’ll find the scholarships currently open for childcare professionals in NSW, and if something takes your fancy (and you tick the boxes for eligibility), make sure you apply asap!
Applications will stay open until 30 June, 2024 – or until this year’s allocated budget gets used up – so there’s lots to gain by being proactive, and thousands of dollars to miss out on if you apply too late.

To set you on a path to scholarship success, here are the current programs that may be open to you:
