The Royal Australian Mint is about to release its 2026 Tooth Fairy coin, which makes things easy and enchanting when your little one’s tooth comes loose.

Every year, the Royal Australian Mint releases a new Tooth Fairy Kit, and although you can still pick up the 2025 set, we’re super excited about two new offerings dropping soon!  

For starters, you can look forward to the 2026 Tooth Fairy Kit. 

This includes a 2026 $2 coloured coin, reusable case, toothbrush, tooth chart and a magical message from the Tooth Fairy, so you’re totally set when that pearly white pops out.  

And if you don’t want to go the whole kit and caboodle, the Mint is also releasing a 2026 $2 Tooth Fairy coin that comes with a colourful card.  

Unlike the Bluey coins, these little beauties don’t have a limited mintage, so everyone can get one (or up to three) of each as the year goes by. 

However, if your child’s tooth is wobbling already, or you’re just keen to have some Tooth Fairy goodies on stand-by, you’ll want to put these dates in your calendar! 

• This morning, on Wednesday, 25 February at 8:30am (AEDT) the EQL Ballot opened for both Tooth Fairy products. This ballot puts you in the draw to collect a 2026 Tooth Fairy coin first, and the ballot closes on Friday, 27 February at 8:30am (AEDT). 
  
  

• Then from Saturday, 28 February at 10am (AEDT) you can purchase the Tooth Fairy goodies direct from the Mint Shop in Canberra, or distributors they’ve partnered with around Australia.  
  
  

• And from Monday, 2 March at 8.30am (AEDT) you can buy your 2026 Tooth Fairy gear over the phone, by calling the Mint Contact Centre on 1300 652 020.
