For the first time ever, the Parenting Research Centre is running a national survey to capture lots of different parenting experiences, and you’re invited to share yours.

Child-raising is different for everyone, and whether you’re the parent you always thought you’d be, or you feel like you’re on an endless learning curve, the Parenting Research Centre would love to get your take on the whole parenting experience!

Their inaugural Parenting Today survey is designed for mums, dads and care-givers of children aged 0 to 18, and this survey is definitely worth doing.

It's 100% confidential and secure, so you can share your views without worrying about other people’s vibe and vents.

And the answers you give are for the greater good!

This survey will help the Parenting Research Centre to better understand what families are going through, and what improvements can be made when it comes to things like parenting programs, early learning policy, and wellbeing strategies.

It’s hoped that 10,000 Aussie parents will complete the survey before it closes on 31 August, 2025.

And if you’d like to be one of them, all you have to do is follow this link and set aside 10 to 20 minutes to complete the survey online (or a little longer if you prefer to do it over the phone).

The Parenting Today survey covers lots of different topics, from sleep and social media, to cost-of-living pressures and parenting resources; and it’s good to know that this simple-but-influential survey is supported by the Raising Children Network.

So, whatever parent life looks like for you, this is a great opportunity to share your experiences for the benefit of parents everywhere.
