Parent Reviews
Both my children attended PPS from Kindy to year six. They loved the school, made lots of friends and were able to get involved in many activities. They got to perform in events (creative and sporting) at the Opera House, Town Hall, Chatswood Theatre and Olympic Park stadiums. The teaches give up their own time for these events. It’s a lovely school with a great community. Thank you to all the teachers, after school carers and volunteer parents.
angela touched me
I am writing to share my experience with PPS, a public primary school that has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. My child recently missed out on a major sports event that he had been preparing for, and hoping to excel in, due to a lack of communication from the class teacher and principal. This was a great loss and distress to my child, and we feel speechless on the misorganization that has occurred.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. It reflects the short of resources of this school and lack of attention to individual students, and a reluctant attitude of teachers towards individual students. As parents, we feel not reassured, so we need to look after everything just to make sure our kid does not get unfairly treated again.
The fact that communication must be done via the school has created a lot of difficulties for us, and we believe that this is a significant issue that needs to be addressed. It is clear that this school lacks the necessary resources and attention to individual students, and we cannot recommend it to other parents.
We need an environment where teachers are at least responsible for what they do to their students. We believe that this is the only way to ensure that our child receives the attention and support that he/she deserves.
Overall, I cannot recommend PPS to other parents. If you are looking for a school that truly cares about your child's education and well-being, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Academics are questionable honestly.
Yr 6 2022 surely the best (Daniel)
Pymble Public is amazing , my daughter goes there and she says it’s all fantastic, fun activities, amazing opportunities, great school grounds however currently there is new construction for improved classrooms and my daughter loves the look of one of the new ones that were just erected. Teachers are very helpful and nice, some of them reasonably strict.
Overall, a good school for your child if he/she lives in Pymble, Gordon, St Ives.
