Pretty good school, but there are a few teachers who you want to avoid in case they give you a reflection for an unfair reason (no hat etc.)
The school was great, and had good activities like the camps, mini fete etc. The reason why it is 4 star is because the principal is not doing the canberra camp anymore. :(
Anyway, this school is amazing and you should definitely go here.
Also Mr Stone was a W teacher
pretty good i went here for years and i survived. keep in mine it does swap through principals pretty quick, we had like 7 in my 7 years (we called it the principal training ground). [2024 UPDATE: my sources tell me they now have a principal who has actually stayed long term!]
not so great in the learning support department, mrs lane is wonderful though! but if ur child is autistic/has a learning disability you will probably have to push for more support (i was like your child).
they have a mindfulness class but as someone with OCD and anxiety it caused me to have a few panic attacks - the inside of my head is NOT a fun place unfortunately. however every student is different and i’m sure it worked for some.
some teachers are quite insensitive, not gonna name names because i don’t want them to get in trouble now but some often don’t think before they speak/realise that the child they are talking about can hear them. i also had a few bullying incidents that weren’t dealt with amazingly. but there are some incredible teachers there who genuinely care about their students (special shoutout to Ms Bate, Mr Barnett, and Ms Lavender. thanks for believing in me ❤️❤️) and they make all the difference.
overall? decent school, some unsupportive teachers but also some absolute gems to make up for it. send your child here but make sure they’re getting the support they deserve from their teacher and peers. good luck ❤️
The North Epping community is centred around this school. The schools student body has seen a massive decline rate due to most of the students in the area have graduated to high school. The school has very nice activities, such as the mini fete and the paddlers parade, as well as very well organised events, such as Open Day and the Easter Parade. I missed the school fair, it was the most memorable moments in Epping North. The teachers are pretty good, and they share some useful information. Would definitely recommend sending your child here, if you are based in the Epping region of North Sydney.
Great school, very friendly teachers, lots of fun activities and very beautiful environment, big field, clean class rooms. It was the best school that I have ever attended in my life.
principle… is… AMAZING
(extreme sarcasm)
she enforces weird rules that she breaks herself.
some teachers were bad but some were chill. some were downright mean. bathrooms are disgusting there is poo on the floor and roof and wet toilet paper on the walls frequently.
As a former year 6 of 2022 I lived everything EXEPT the principle she was biased against people and blamed certain people for things that completely DOENT RELATE to the victim. All the teachers are super nice and I do suggest staying there. Also I loved the oval super big.
Hug me
Mostly Amazing teachers and good ovals. The casuals are horrid though, some of the worst ive seen. The principal is very rude to parents and is seeminly nice but she isnt. The school also plans fun activities and events. I would say apart from the principal and the casual this school is great
