Annangrove Preschool is set in a peaceful semi-rural environment that offers large and natural playgrounds for the children to explore. Our tranquillity from our natural environments and lighting guides not only our outdoor environment but exudes through our kindergarten. Our location is central and convenient being in between Castle Hill, Rouse Hill, Kenthurst, Dural and Kellyville areas. Our Educational programs reflect the Early Years Learning Framework, the national curriculum for Early Childhood, these programs are guided by our qualified educational leader who values the individual child.  

Each day the children are engaged in a range of activities to support growth and development including story times, music and movement, gross motor activities, arts and craft and much more. At the end of the day a daily story is displayed for families to read with their children and share what interesting experiences they have had that day.

  • Extracurricular activities (All-Inclusive)- for our pre-schoolers (Blue Room) we provide these Extracurricular activities at no extra cost. As we value children’s learning, healthy habits and believe that these activities provide children with an additional learning activity that support the transition off to primary school.

Educational Programs

Our educational Programs are based around supporting all children as individuals and allowing them to reach their fullest potential. Our programs are based around holistic development of children and supporting them to reach each of their capabilities when they are ready. This is done through a variety of ways, as our educational programs are based around children’s ideas and interests. As dedicated and experienced educators are planning and programming for all children, we then incorporate a variety of intentional teaching which allows us to build on children’s skills, capabilities and understanding of the world through learning valuable life skills.

Red Room

Our Red Room caters for our youngest friends, one of our main focuses within this room is to support our youngest friends in developing a sense of the world. This is done through creating lasting and meaningful relationships with the children. Each individual child is supported and guided through their day with love, laughter, fun and smiles. All whilst gaining valuable knowledge of the world in which they live in. Our educational program is focused on supporting the babies to learn about their bodies and develop awareness of what their bodies are capable of. Along with striving to support them in reaching all their developmental milestones.

One of the best things within the babies’ room is watching our youngest friends reach each of these developmental milestones, it means as much to us to see your baby walk, crawl or talk for the first time as well as watching them progress over time.

Green Room

In our green room we care for our toddler aged children, within this room we have our little independent and spirited young beings. Within the green room we are working alongside the children to develop and strengthen their individual capabilities, as well as finding their love and passions. Their personalities certainly begin to shine within this room, and it is fabulous to watch!Our educational program focuses on guiding and giving children the tools and knowledge to explore their world. This is done through focusing on children’s independence and sense of agency, we support the children on developing a strong understanding of their communication and social/ emotional skills. 

Blue Room

Our Blue Room caters for preschool aged children who are preparing to enter their schooling environment within the following years. Our educational Programs are based around supporting all children as individuals and allowing them to reach their fullest potential. School Readiness – Transition to School Program

At APSK we value children’s independent capabilities and capacities. One of the first big changes that happens for young children is transitioning off primary school. APSK is committed to ensuring that all children are ready to take on the world when the enter their new schooling environments. Annangrove has a dedicated school readiness program designed by our qualified and experienced Educational Leader with a holistic approach to children’s learning. We believe that multiple factors contribute to the individual success of children entering primary school.

Our Educational School Readiness Program focuses on supporting children not only socially and emotionally but cognitively as well. As we believe that a holistic approach for young children provides them with the very best opportunities. Our program runs over the whole year and incorporate a vast variety of skills and experiences. Over the year the children will explore all their developmental domains social, emotional, cognitive, physical and Language.

Over the year the children will engage in a variety of challenging and interesting experiences that will guide them through connecting with the world that surrounds them.

Our Educational Program helps to prepare each child for school, this is done through a variety of ways these include;

Centre Director & Educational Leader (Miss Kimberly)

Miss Kim is our Centre Director and Educational Leader here at Annangrove Preschool Kindergarten, she is a dedicated and passionate teacher who holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care Birth-5 years. Miss Kim has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the early childhood field and is consistently furthering her experience through professional development, short courses and further study.

From a very young age my desire was to teach, I believe that children learn through positive and nurturing learning environments.
