Spent 13 years here.
School went through a lot of changes while I was there.
The staff were caring and kind in my day and while we sometimes clearly were missing funds for things like an actual modern history teacher, no disrespect to Mr Hawkins he's a good man. Also our physics teacher did not appear to have a strong background in physics as much as I appreciate Ms Scully. Outside looking in I think their funding issues are looking pretty resolved these days but at the same time, we got on with it wihout too much worry.
Some very dedicated and talented teachers like Mrs Coates, Mr Budge and Mr Taylor made my experience here very positive.
There's a few gripes on here about fussing over uniform and jewelry which I don't think were real issues, they have standards and they are very clear on them.
At times there were moments where the christian slant on things got the tiniest bit odd. e.g. for a high school sex ed class they brought in a guy who explained he believed that kissing on the lips was sex, they did show us "An Inconvenient Truth" and the next lesson felt the need to show us a 'christian perspective' on global warming which essentially talked completely disproven stuff like how the sun causes global warming. (see nasa on causes of climate change).
Aside from those cases, the school teaches strong morals, positive connections and good standards of behaviour.

Excellent school that goes above and beyond for students. Wellbeing is fantastic as well as communication and support.
Since my daughter has started we have had nothing but support and positivity and she is actually learning not being ignored and fobbed off.
I went to this school from prep-year 3 and lets say I don't have one good thing to say about it. I do not recommend this school what so ever as it's honestly damaging. The teachers cared more about the earrings you had in or what socks you had on then bullying and other things that were certainly more important. The fact i still remember all the negatives of this school years later says something. I really do not recommend.
