C&K Thornlands Childcare Centre

My son went to C&K and wish I never sent him. No professionalism at all. The lack of communication is unreal. My son kept getting hurt and nothing was getting done about it. The yard is way too big, not enough staff to children ratio. The staff I feel don’t care about the children. I didn’t know anything that my son was up to during the day as no updates were happening. Had a meeting with Letitia to see if things improved and nothing did! I’m so glad I removed my son from there. I didn’t feel comfortable dropping him off did not feel he was safe. Would not recommend this centre to anyone. It may look good as it’s new but that means nothing if you don’t have staff that care. My son is so much happier, he will even Say “not go back to my old school” when we go past it. That shows a lot. Hes much safer where he is now and so glad I went with my gut instinct.

I would not recommend this center at all. It used to be an amazing safe center but it recently had a lot of staff leave and a new director was appointed. Since that time there was nothing but issues. Bullying was happening to the point my child was scared to go and would cry everything I had to drop her off.

I could not recommend this centre more highly. It was a very scary thing, thinking about where to send my first child for daycare as I returned to work (as a teacher myself). I was so anxious that I would never find a centre where I felt comfortable leaving him. That all changed when we went for a stay and play here. There are no words that can describe my happiness and gratitude in being accepted and able to send Theodore to C&K Thornlands. Letitia and her team of outstanding and innovative educators who don’t miss a beat. They go above and beyond in every single aspect of Daycare/Kindy life. Theodore has the most exquisite meals cooked by the in house chefs. He has had the most caring, loving, attentive educators who have already instilled a love for learning and exploring while always making him feel so secure in this space away from home. Theodore beams with excitement when we drive into the car park and now doesn’t like leaving at the end of the day. I could not recommend this centre more, and I am so unbelievably grateful for this centre and the incredible staff who work there. Thank you C&K Thornlands, you are simply the best!

Our grandson goes to this centre and we are always so impressed with the educators and their love and enthusiasm. The centre and its facilities are modern, clean and functional for the kids to learn new skills. The vibe is always upbeat yet nurturing and our grandson loves it. Theirs meals provided are second to none. Highly recommended if you’re looking for care.

Share similar sentiments with comments against the Director, and the lack of professionalism. There were instances where my child was bullied, despite raising this multiple times both in writing and verbally, the centre did NOTHING. No care and consideration. This showed in their reluctance to attend. No regrets pulling my children out of this centre.

New building with great facilities, the playground in particular is beautiful. My daughter did enjoy all the attention from the teachers, most of them were caring and well trained. The cons wede that the backyard feels too big, making hard to control the kids. Second, the lack of daily updates to parents about what the kids did during the day, I would get 2 o 3 updates a month from weeks back, never up to date information.

My children are very happy at C&K and as a parent this makes me happy. We love the set up, the staff and the facilities. We have been here since the beginning and don’t plan on going anywhere.

We love C&K Thornlands. All of the educators work so hard to care for and educate our little people. We’re very happy here and grateful for such a good service.
