Goodstart Early Learning Labrador - Gordon Street

I have been working in the Childcare sector for over 26 years and I have been a Centre Director for 20 years.

The time flies when you're doing what you love. In 2021, I celebrated 25 years of service.

I love my position as the cente director and working with families for the best possible outcomes along with   seeing the way the children are able to embrace the wonder of play, whilst soaking up knowledge that helps grow into articulate young people. To be able to play a small role in the foundation of their learning is a privilege.

I am the mother of two boys, who have progressed through childcare and school to now university.

I hold my Advanced Diploma in Community Services, Children's Services, and relevant First Aid certificate.

At Goodstart Labrador Gordon Street, I am inspired every day with being able to assist all children in their development and learning whilst positively encouraging their successes. Each child is different, each family is unique, and no two days are ever the same.  Our aim is to provide support that is tailored to your family’s needs. Working in partnership with you to build upon your child’s social and emotional development and readiness for school.

Today’s children are our future leaders, who need to be nurtured and encouraged to question and strive for answers that will benefit not only themselves but everyone around them.
