If you have any courses fall in the period of mid-December, January
February ish period, the cafe and other facilitates are all closed. If you would like to buy a coffee or something to eat, you have to walk to some of the stores outside the campus. It may not be a very big deal, but it would be really inconvenient.
To anyone who wants to consider studying teaching at UniSA, I would strongly recommend avoiding uniSA at all costs. I have completed my master's degree at UniSA and have had the worst experience.
The courses are very poorly organised, often with incorrect dates or details. Course coordinators and the teaching staff often lack communication, which results in them having different expectations for assignments etc. Many of the teaching staff are bullies. In my first year one of the workshop coordinators made a student cry, and when we reported their behaviour we were told "no, she's actually a really good teacher". Many of my peers told me they dealt with racial microagressions regularly, and occasionally blatant racism.
Their invoices are lacking detail, they don't give receipts for payments, and they have overcharged my HECS debt at least twice. They do not follow their own complaints policy, and refuse to investigate students claims. They also refused to consider the reasonable adjustments I required for my disability, but I have since learned they allowed the same accommodation so that someone could work at a sporting tournament.
There are a thousand issues I could discuss, but I will just conclude by recommending prospective students look at interstate Universities instead.
