Parent Reviews
it was alright
Based on my experience (now three years ago), I hadn't liked this school. When it came to class captains and sorts, they'd always choose the kids who had parents working in the school or who were fond with the faculty in that school. It wasn't a pleasant experience if I do say so myself. The teaching however was alright so I guess that's a positive. The teachers were also great too! (The ones that had taught me anyways). I hope this school has improved however since I've last attended.
The Darley primary school grass has been quite a conversation starter at the grass eaters council. For such small patches and terrible quality appearance grass actually does not taste as bad as most people would assume. It does have bad qualities of texture from the amount of effort placed into caring for the grass which may lead to health issues after consumption and also the lack of placement in favor of smart grass (which is disgraceful). However despite these issues which bring this review down and it would have been 1 star if it were not the saving grace of the taste. No matter how many downsides were brought upon this school through its lackluster care for the grass, the soil it found itself in saves the taste and provides the more than an average-tasting piece of grass. When I first experienced this grass I was anticipating a terrible piece of the green blade but instead, I experienced an astronomical change in pace, it tasted good. I am aware of the many better bits of grass found in other schools but in this case, Darley Primary takes the cake for one of the strangest effects of grass eating I have encountered in a while.
They won’t support autistic/adhd students properly even if you beg them to. (they treat them as classic “naughty” kids) They also don’t take se*ual as*ault seriously enough. (even when it happens multiple times during multiple classes!) It was traumatising being treated like this when I was a small autistic child, I already had enough going on at home. They may claim to nurture, but they won’t nurture kids with disorders like mine.
this school is my home, i grew up here, it is sad that the school is going downhill. in my last year here, the best principal left and every since he left things seem to get worse and worse it was very sad to too see Mr Cornock go, but to show that the teachers care and prove that they really do care after mr cornnock left he still came to our gradation. this proves that the teachers care. other than that the school is very good. but 1 thing is where i was bullyed their all they did was sit me in a room with all of my bullies while they tried to say i was lying
this place is my home
