BY HEJIRA CONVERY, KINDICARE
Walking into a brand-new early learning service is exciting for everyone involved, and although you can definitely find quality childcare at a long-established or not-so-new centre, we thought we’d introduce you to a few places that have just opened their doors!
With sparkly facilities and resources, freshly designed programs, and a whole team of enthusiastic new hires, these services have a lot to offer.
If you find any of them in your childcare search area, they’re definitely worth exploring, and if you’re not located nearby, it’s still interesting to see what’s new in the world of childcare.
So, without further ado, here are five newly opened centres that caught our eye and may well catch yours!
1. Bloom Early Education Beechboro
This Western Australian centre has been thoughtfully designed to help early learners and outside school hours care kids grow into their potential.
Bloom Early Education has created a tranquil environment that nurtures and inspires, and because they’ve got a garden theme running through their offering, children are part of the Bloom Cycle and move between Bloom Rooms as they grow.
There’s a Seeds, Sprouts, Shoots, Seedlings and Buds room to cover ages zero to 11, and whichever stage they’re at, children are given the elements they need to learn and develop well.
Multi-sensory experiences and hands-on activities are a big part of the program, and the educators really are passionate about helping children thrive.

2. Grow Early Education Park Ridge
If you’re looking for a purpose-built centre in Queensland, then Grow Early Education Park Ridge is definitely worth a look.
This freshly-opened centre is located near quite a few primary schools, to support a smooth transition for kindy kids, but we’re guessing little ones won’t be in any rush to leave this place!
Grow Park Ridge’s classrooms are bursting with exciting educational resources, and in the outdoor playgrounds, there are cubby houses, sandpits, bike tracks and a fort for awesomely active play.
There are also vegetable and herb gardens, so children can have a ‘playground to plate’ experience, and the whole environment promises to be happy, engaging, nurturing and safe for little learners.
Mums and dads will also be pleased to know that the daily fee includes meals, extra-curricular activities, nappies, bed linen, wipes, sunscreen, a drink bottle, hat and FREE barista coffee for parents!

3. Laa Yulta Primary School Kindergarten
The Victorian government has just built this kindy and it’s being run by Sparkways on the same site as Laa Yulta Primary School in Mambourin, Victoria, to support a very smooth transition to big school.
The shared site is also super convenient for families with early learners and primary schoolers, and the kindy itself is a great place for little people to be.
There are natural play spaces, exciting incursions, community walks and a whole team of passionate educators who are keen to share their special interests in things like cooking, language, STEM and positive education.
There’s also the opportunity to save up to $2,500 per year for the funded kindergarten program, thanks to the Victorian government’s Free Kinder initiative.

The team is dedicated to providing warm and encouraging care for ages zero to six, and in Dulili Wendouree’s homely environments, children are supported to be themselves and grow through nurturing.
The Dulili team shares rich experiences and tailored interactions with the children to expand their hearts and minds, and help them reach their full potential, and families feel involved in everything that goes on.

Kool Beanz SUNS Harrup Park recently opened its doors in Mackay, Queensland, and Kool Beanz Academy is on a mission to provide exceptional childcare that’s fun in the moment and also prepares littlies for the big journey into school and life.
Their educators care about children’s social and emotional development, as well as their academic readiness, and if you tour Kool Beanz SUNS Harrup Park, you’ll be impressed by the playground, as well as the program.
They have a gorgeous wooden fort built around established trees, plus a water pump station for splashy, sensory play; and the natural feel continues inside with a tree-shaped library, potted plants, and loads of wooden toys and furniture.

The above options are great to see, and whether you’re looking for a brand-new or well-established childcare centre, KindiCare is here to help!
We put every single early learning service in the palm of your hand, and make it super easy to search, compare, enquire and apply with the ones you love.
When you open up a centre listing, you’ll see the date the service was approved, and although it’s interesting to compare 19 January 2007 with 31 October 2023, there’s a lot to consider when you’re shortlisting services and making a final decision on where to enrol.
Factors like availability, affordability, area, approach, ratings, reputation and feel all matter, and the Childcare Match feature in the KindiCare App will point you in the right direction when searching and enquiring.
From there, you can organise a few centre tours, then decide whether new is you, or old is gold!
