The Learning Sanctuary Norwood, located close to the Adelaide CBD achieved top position in South Australia. Achieving a rating 9.5 on the KindiCare App, The Learning Sanctuary in Norwood also achieved an Exceeding National Quality Standards Rating by ACECQA.

Set within a heritage listed Victorian villa and located about 3km from the Adelaide CBD on expansive grounds, The Learning Sanctuary Norwood provides children with a delightful indoor and outdoor environment to explore and play.

The curriculum at The Learning Sanctuary Norwood is inspired by the Montessori method where each child is encouraged to learn through play and experimentation, to inspire a love of learning and foster self-confidence and independence and develop the skills for a lifetime of learning.

This boutique centre offers an educational program in a carefully crafted yet comfortable environment that feels like a home away from home.

Facilities include two large outdoor areas, a courtyard, several play structures, a water play area, two vegetable gardens, and animals including chickens, rabbits, birds and fish. Children use the herbs, fruit and veggies they grow in the garden to engage in cooking experiences and feed the centre’s pets.

Nutritious morning and afternoon tea are provided every day at the centre which also provides daily updates and photos that allow families to keep track of their child’s learning and development.

Centre Manager Christine Moody said her team of educators went above and beyond for every child and family.
