Goodstart Early Learning Little Mountain - Gumtree Pocket Court

I have been in the childcare industry for 20yrs and with Goodstart for 14yrs. I hold a diploma in children services. I have enjoyed caring for all age groups throughout my career and have been successful in several roles with in Goodstart.

As an Early Learning professional, I advocate for the rights of children and continuously strive to provide the highest quality education and care to children in our community.

I model my approach to teaching like Piaget, 'he believed that children learn through actively constructing knowledge through hands-on experience. He suggested that the adult's role in helping the child learn was to provide appropriate materials for the child to interact and construct.'

I am extremely passionate about making collaborative partnerships within our wider community as I believe this is an essential part of our children learning self-awareness and confidence. I aim to provide a safe, nurturing, loving and quality care environment to our community.

We are an centre that prides ourselves on inclusivity and providing environments to help each and every child feel safe and secure in our care and give them a place where they belong.
