Additional Centre Information

Paula Dickson

Centre Director

Hello, my name is Paula Dickson, I have been working in Early Years since 1991, to which I have been in a leadership capacity for over 25 years.

Working in the industry for such a long period of time has given me the vast experience and knowledge to help support and mentor the children and educators of today. I believe a village raises a child, and in this village, there are many people that support and give the ability to help children with the best outcomes for life.

I understand that all families are different, but in our village, we treat them on their individual needs. Inclusion is about belonging, as a child, as a family, as an educator and as a community.

When people belong, they thrive because they feel safe, nurtured and valued. This is what Goodstart wants to achieve for all children and families, in every centre and every community. (Marham, 2016) I look forward to meeting you all in person when you visit.
