I had an incredibly beautiful day at Croxton School as a substitute teacher today, the students just bought so much joy to me. I heard nothing but words of encouragement from them to each other, they were so inclusive and motivated each other. They were an absolute pleasure to teach, and were really receptive and engaged despite having a new teacher in the classroom with them, they made me feel so welcomed and they were very friendly and respectful. The staff there were so inspiring to observe, they made each student feel like home and empowered them, they created a safe space for students to feel heard and seen. They knew the students well and were able to cater for their learning and personal needs. The staff all worked really well as a team and supported each other and made me feel welcomed.
Why is it theres a bus unfair the for the other children really unfair parents have to drive to there normal school even only for people who don ,t know school are for every primary student cheers
Contrary to the high praise, the teachers at Croxton are undertrained and ill-informed. They do not know how to help their students, nor do they really put in the effort to help them. They mostly spend class time playing games to make it look like they're doing something. If it wasn't for outside help, I would have fallen through the cracks years ago. Very few students at Croxton ever overcome their barriers, and those that do often leave out the full story, like that they had some extra help at home or that their "disability" was actually a minor issue with illiteracy.
Fantastic school
Our daughter attends this school (she is in Prep). Fantastic, vibrant environment with caring and dedicated teachers--she is flourishing.
I have been this school I was 4 turning 5 year old, I really love all stuff classes and life skills. Pretty much I haven't been change schools at a I stay there until I finish year 12, I disagree some people saying yes horrible school which is "NOT" now there is new teachers I haven't met yet I know old ones until they leave. This school it helps lots of special needs students and getting help lots of support

Special School. Wonderful dedicated teachers, great programs, scope for integration to mainstream with great support. Highly recommended.
